These beaded earrings required ten hours of slow, focused handwork, with each strand placed with precision and care. A vintage brass sunburst frame, set with a faceted rose quartz cabochon, anchors cascading fringe strands of picture jasper, peach moonstone, mother of pearl, and Czech seed beads in warm earth tones and pale blue-gray. The fringe fans wide as it falls, creating a silhouette that moves like breath.
This statement piece is named after Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde, whose public plea for compassion and empathy toward migrants felt brave, human, and deeply necessary.
These earrings speak to dignity, conscience, and the courage to stand up when it matters most.

Some designs do return, while others remain part of Moon & Milk’s past collections. Because each piece is made in small batches, availability depends on timing, materials, and current workload.
When designs return, they are offered through Made to Order. For one-of-a-kind requests, custom work may be available on a limited basis. Please contact us here.
What does "Made to Order" mean?
Made to Order means your earrings are created specifically for you after your order is placed, rather than being mass produced in advance. This allows us to produce in small batches with care and intention. Please allow 3-4 weeks for production before shipping.
Where does my order ship from?
Moon & Milk ships from two locations: Los Angeles for Ready to Wear pieces, and Munich for Made to Order pieces.
Warranty
Moon & Milk beaded earrings are covered by a 3-year warranty on craftsmanship and beadwork. If an issue arises under normal wear, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to help. For more information on our 3-year warranty, visit here.
Jewelry Care
To preserve your Moon & Milk earrings, store them laying flat or hanging, preferably flat, in a dry and dark place. Original packaging is ideal for long-term storage. Keep away from heat, as the nylon thread used in construction may shrink and damage the beadwork.
Our pieces are created as heirlooms and are delicate by design. Please handle with care for longevity.
