Beading Changed My Life. Now It Can Change Yours.

I was going to be a lawyer.
That was the plan. That was the identity I let other people give me. I mean, I don't blame them; I'm a very argumentative person. That was the answer I gave every time someone asked what I was going to do with my life.
Then the day came to take the LSAT.
I remember staring at the exam booklet on the desk in front of me. And something came over me that I had no word for at the time. I wasn't nervous or doubtful, but my gut said: Stop being silly. What are you doing here? This is not your life.
I got up. Walked out. Sat in my car for a while. And left. I did not know yet what my life was. I just knew with sudden and complete certainty what it was not in a courtroom.
The Craft That Rerouted Everything
I think in pictures. Always have. I'm a visual and kinesthetic learner, and I did not fully understand what that meant until I found something that used both of my skills at once.
Beading is building an image bead by bead with your hands. For someone like me, it was like finding the exact tool my brain had been waiting for.
The more I sat with the beads, the more ideas came. Slowly at first, then an unstoppable flow of colors and patterns entirely my own. And boy, did I surprise myself...
One thing I learned about creativity is that it's a muscle, it gets better with consistent practice. Nobody tells you this. The more you use it, the stronger it gets, and the more it demands to be used. Beading gave me a creative life I did not know I was capable of. It gave me Moon & Milk, and with that, it gave me freedom.
Why I Decided to Start Teaching
For years, people have slid into my DM's to ask me about my beading supplies and my beading technique, and lots of them went unanswered and, honestly, simply ignored.
I told myself I was too busy, that my focus was only on designing and producing. All of that was true. But I have spent eight years building a brand rooted in women's financial independence, naming every earring after a woman who refused to shrink herself, making sure the artisan women I work with are paid what their work is worth. And I realized I was sitting on a skill that could give another woman exactly what it had given me.
Ignoring my DM's did not sit right anymore.
So early this year, I got my phone, my tripod, and finally decided to make an online beading tutorial to share my unique technique, tips, and everything I learned the hard way, and share it with you, so you won't have to.
What Is Included
The techniques I learned by trial and error, the vendors I spent years finding. The patterns, the materials, the things nobody tells you when you are starting out.
Each tutorial is built around one of my designs. Angelina, Nina, Malala, Santa Monica, and Peltier. You pick the one that calls to you.
Depending on where you are, you can start with just the tutorial and my sourcing list, or I can send you everything you need to make your first pair from scratch—no need for hunting for supplies.
Who This Is For
The woman who has been watching beaded earrings reels on Instagram for two years thinking, "I could do that."
The woman who would like to make her own earrings or gift them to her special ones.
The woman who has a creative business living in the back of her mind, with no idea where or how to start.
The hardest part is starting. Your life is NOW!
Sincerely,
Alejandra G.
